Our Purpose

Buluana was created to celebrate who we are, share our stories, and connect our people. Here, you will find the traditions that define us, the leaders who inspire us, the islands that sustain us, and the businesses that drive our future.

Our Culture

Penama is known around the world for traditions such as Nagol (Land Diving) on Pentecost, the artistry of Sand Drawing on Ambae, and the symbolic power of the Red Mat from Maewo. These customs are not only heritage but also living expressions of our identity.

Our Leaders

From Father Walter Lini, the Father of Independence, to many others who have served as politicians, professionals, and community figures, Penama has always produced leaders who carry the vision of unity, progress, and kastom.
